This session will cover the Native Americans and also Sitting Bull. Minimum age for youth is 14 and each youth must be accompanied by an adult from the church. We will travel to the site on July 21 and 22. Cost is $500-$600 per participant.

In the winter of 2005, the Lord spoke to the hearts of a couple of FFUMC members, planting the seeds of a new ministry in their hearts. Stepping out in faith, Manna In Ministry began with an announcement in church one Sunday morning.
Within a few hours, a $200 donation had been made, several volunteers had stepped forward and the first delivery was sent out in March of that year. The rest is history as M n M continues to serve Christ by serving others. We will serve our February 2012 meals on Tuesday, February 14th
This ministry began in April 2000 and God has blessed us with donations of food items, money and volunteers who faithfully come and serve our patrons weekly throughout the year. This ministry serves people who live in the Hancock County zip codes
We thank the volunteer workers of the Food Pantry, you the donors who help tremendously with this ministry. Mt. Vernon Schools have helped tremendously with their donations of food items. We were able to distribute canned hams and other treats for Christmas.
God has always blessed this ministry!

This ministry began in 2003 at our church with a small group of women who came together to
decide how to administer this program and we kept it simple and went from there.
Blankets were made by people and donated to the church for its use.
ANYONE who would like a blanket can receive one. When the pastor or church office knows there is a need for a blanket, it is placed on the altar the next Sunday during worship and at the appropriate time during worship, people are asked to come forward and pray over this blanket. After worship, this blanket is delivered. We have heard many testimonials as to how this blanket has given comfort and peace to the person. God is awesome and working in and through His people. AMEN to that!
